Dr. Nicolson Siu serves as a Registered Psychologist at AMindset and Lecturer in the Division of Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His passion for counseling led him to develop evidence-based interventions for neurodivergent children, particularly those with the autism spectrum disroder. His PhD dissertation focused on enhancing executive functions in these children, highlighting his commitment to fostering their development. In 2019, he secured government funding to create an innovative parenting curriculum centered on empathy and compassion, aimed at supporting families with neurodivergent children.
Dr. Nicolson also provides consultancy to local NGOs, leveraging his expertise in neurophysiological assessment and training to improve counseling practices for neurodivergent children. His holistic approach integrates neuropsychological insights with compassionate counseling, making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.
