Dr. Edward C. K. Lam is a U.S.-trained and licensed Clinical Psychologist currently practicing in Hong Kong. He holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and a B.Sc. in Psychology from New York University.
Edward specializes in working with teens (14+) and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, stress, and interpersonal difficulties. His integrative approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He is known for helping clients break unhelpful patterns and build meaningful, values-driven lives.
In addition to his clinical work, Edward partners with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to deliver school-based mental health programs for underprivileged youth and provides training and clinical supervision to youth social workers. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
