Dr. Benny Lam is a clinical psychologist with twenty years of experience across the United States and Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology specializing in addiction and family counselling. He is currently an Advanced Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (ACADC), International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC), Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator and Trainer, Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADAC), member of the American Psychological Association (APA), TJTA Certified Practitioner, and member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. He also serves as a guest lecturer at several universities in the U.S. and Hong Kong.

His expertise includes psychological assessment and therapy, addiction, anxiety, emotional distress, intimate relationships, and family issues. Dr. Lam is also one of the founders of the Rope Therapy Association, promoting and advocating the benefits of rope therapy in addressing various psychological concerns.

Currently, Dr. Lam is the President of the Hong Kong Professional Association for Addiction Counseling and the Vice President of the Hong Kong Association of Psychology, dedicated to helping more families resolve psychological issues.
