Sheila is a Senior Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with Samaritans of Singapore (SOS). She holds a Masters in Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision. She has been working for the last 14 years in healthcare and social service settings. She has extensive experience with clients who present with trauma, suicidality and complex bereavement due to suicide grief. She specialises in catering to the needs of high-risk clients and clients affected by suicide loss and facilitates support groups for individuals who have been impacted by a suicide crisis and bereavement. Sheila has conducted trainings in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and provides crisis intervention support to organisations impacted with suicide crisis. She is also an accredited crisis worker with American Association of Suicidality (AAS) and a clinical member with Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). She is appreciative of the work she has pursued and believes that everyone has the ability to do their best for themselves, and for those around them.
