Rebecca Versolato is a psychotherapist and counselor who leads White Canvas Therapy Practice. She has an extensive background in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic approaches and is a member and lecturer of the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. She is also a member of the Singapore Association of Counselling and Psychoanalysis Association of Singapore. She works with individuals and couples, from teenage years to adulthood. Rebecca has contributed by lecturing at events in Singapore for Brazilian communities or collaborated with magazines such as Elle SG, Singapore Tatler, and Expat Living, and blogs such as Sassy Mama and holds a column in Pais & Filhos Magazine (Portugal and Brazil). She states that a therapist’s compromise with his clients should always be learning and updating oneself and conducting therapy work with good supervisors. Through what she calls a psychoanalytic lens, she believes we must dig deeper to understand past patterns and the underlying reasons why clients put themselves in situations that they would like to be different.
