Lou Lebentz is the Founder of ‘Trauma Thrivers’ a popular online Facebook communityand podcast for both clinicians and those with a particular interest in trauma. Lou also delivers trauma-informed training globally for coaches, counsellors and other healthprofessionals. With a particular focus on helping people understand and recover from trauma, addiction and complex PTSD.

Lou has been an accredited and sought-after UK psychotherapist and trauma consultant for over two decades. Ten years of which were spent at a well-known psychiatric hospital “The Priory”, followed by a further ten in private practice in Central London working with a myriad of clients.

Alongside her qualifications in psychotherapy, Lou is also an EMDR clinician (eye movement desensitization reprocessing). She has also studied many eastern philosophies and incorporates many holistic, spiritual and mind/body approaches into her work.
