Cheryl Tan
Founder
The Breathe Movement
Cheryl is an imperfect human with an infectious laugh. As a dedicated yoga and meditation practitioner, she has a keen interest in understanding various tools and techniques that enable individuals to heal from deep-rooted trauma.
She founded The Breathe Movement in 2014, a social organisation aimed at enabling individuals to widen their perspectives and recognize their capacity to self-regulate; provide a space for healing; cultivate empowerment through a more intricate understanding of self and others. She strongly believes in self-care which is reflected in her rock climbing activities on top of being a plant-mama.
Cheryl is also the founder of the Singapore Mental Health Film Festival, and a 2019 Obama Leader, Asia-Pacific.
