Hui Wen Tong

Certified Mental Health Therapist

Intellect

Hui Wen is an empathetic and collaborative therapist who believes in empowering clients to meet their needs and become their most authentic selves. Often drawing on her training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory, and other person-centred modalities, she customises her work according to her clients’ unique selves and needs. She believes that most clients often have the answers within themselves and that what they really need is a safe space and an empathetic listener, a role Hui Wen takes pride in being.

When not holding therapy sessions for her clients, she is a martial arts instructor who holds a fourth-degree black belt in Ninjutsu and a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Hui Wen believes that martial arts are great at teaching psychological flexibility and emotional awareness and provide a profound therapeutic doorway for those searching for ways to express themselves without the use of words.
