[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.1″ global_colors_info=”{}”]Dr. Richie Parr is a licensed psychotherapist and part of the team of psychologists of the MLAC Institute for Psychosocial Services, Inc. It was here where Richie received intense training in research and practice providing psychosocial rehabilitation for Filipino children, adults, and families in difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n
Dr. Parr worked as a professor in De La Salle University, and Miriam College. She is currently on leave from teaching and is focused on practice and research. She co-authored a book on Personal Development and is currently engaged in producing other research-based material on mental health. She has done several talks on different mental health topics such as trauma, depression, mindfulness, family relations, and marital issues.<\/p>\n
She has a doctorate degree in Developmental Psychology (minor in Clinical Psychology) from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She is a member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines.
